Content Management Systems (CMS)No matter how good the intentions, in reality most website content doesn't change frequently for small to medium sized businesses - we're all too busy running the business and doing things for our customers.However, it is good to to have at least some areas of the site which are updated and refreshed on a fairly regular basis, for example photographs and details of projects, price list or events, such as fairs and shows, if you do them. Another page that should be regularly reviewed is your links page. Links pointing to your website are an important part of your website's search engine strategy and visibility and inpractice, many people want a reciprocal one to their own site. Links should also be provided as an aid for your customers, for example, if you are a builder, then perhaps links to the local Council's planning departments would be useful to them. These aren't going to link back to you, they are purely being helpful to customers. However, you may know a good electrician, plumber or architect that you would recommend and can approcah them to provide a link to your website inexchange for your recommendation. We discuss your needs with you and build a system that is easy to manage, requires no special software or intensive training, just a computer with a connection to the internet.
